Free Fire Was the Most Downloaded Game on Google Play and App Store in 2020: App Annie

Garena  is celebrating Free Fire being the most-downloaded smartphone game all over the world last year. Citing a report by App Annie, Garena is announcing Free Fire's global success in 2020.

According to App Annie's report, Free Fire was the most downloaded smartphone game in 2020 on both iOS as well as Android. Garena states that this is the second year in a row that Free Fire has met with such success, after having also topped the rankings back in 2019

Other highlights of the year 2020 for Free Fire include over 72 billion YouTube views for the game, making it the third most-watched game of the year, and over 100 billion lifetime views on YouTube. Free Fire's flagship tournament of the year, the Free Fire Continental Series, ended with more than 2.5 million peak concurrent viewers on the livestream.
